Panchagavya is being promoted in a big way both nationally and internationally, thanks to the efforts of the Indian government and various local governments. And one company has decided to cash in and provide the necessary products to consumers in a palatable manner.
Hyderabad-based Charaka Dairy is now into the manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines and has come up with a line-up of products, licensed by the Department of Ayush, Telangana. For starters, the medicine range will be available in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Soon, Charaka Dairy intends to extend its base across India.
All products are concoctions of Panchgavya comprising cow milk, urine, and dung and two derivative products ghee and curd. They have been found to have medicinal properties and are said to heal a variety of health conditions.
So, one can now get Panchagavya Sanjeevi Ghan capsules, Charaka Panchagavya Sanjeevi liquid, Go Panchakam liquid and capsules, and Go Ghritam. Charaka Dairy is a pioneer in desi Gir cows’ dairy farms in Telugu states with a farm spreading over 25 acres in Andhole in Sangareddy. The products are now being manufactured at the site through a facility that costs them Rs 1 crore.
The specialty of Charaka is that it is offering medicines hitherto available in liquid form, in the form of capsules. They are using vacuum freeze-drying technology for the first time in making ayurvedic medicines. They also have Panchagavya coconut water, sugar cane, banana, and grape pulp, all of which are sourced from their farms.
The products contain vitamin A, B, C, D, E, lactose, enzymes, creatinine, hormones, gold acid and are said to boost immunity and heal many health conditions.
