West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wants to eat masala dosa, says Chevella MP, Dr. Ranjith Reddy. He says the time is ripe for the regional parties to align and topple the BJP government at the Centre. With senior opposition leaders flying into Hyderabad and recent developments, Reddy says there is scope for a grand alliance.
Of late, Telangana chief minister KCR has been rather vocal about his aversion to Prime Minister Narendra Modi his party BJP. Also, after Modi made slight of the Telangana government and the whole reason behind the formation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, KCR seems to have chalked out a mission for himself.
Given his belligerent attitude, one cannot but help think of Chandra Babu Naidu, who in the past tried many a time to form a Third Front to topple the Congress and subsequent governments in the Centre. His aim was to become the prime minister of the country. It looks like KCR is now in a similar frame of mind.
After touching base with Mamata Banerjee and meeting Udhav Thackerey and Sharad Pawar in Maharashtra, the TRS head honcho seems to be keen on promoting himself as a future prime ministerial candidate. With a positive response from such powerful leaders, KCR now seems to be confident of toppling the Modi government. In fact, he and his allies have been talking about the country wanting an alternative to the saffron party.KCR is now trying to make a role model out of Telangana state’s development in the past 8 years and is harping on the fact that the BJP government at the Centre has done little in the eight years that it has been in power.
According to senior TRS leaders who accompanied KCR to Mumbai, meetings will be held with other leaders, and decisions will be made for future courses of action in the coming days.
