The climate in Hyderabad has changed all of sudden. For the last three days, it is raining moderately in many parts of the city. Secunderabad, Panjagutta, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, and Mehedipatnam areas received showers. It is raining mostly in the evenings and the night. The night temperatures have fallen all of sudden.
It has been raining for 2,3 days in several districts including Hyderabad. The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains for three days in the state. Heavy rains are falling in the state due to the surface trough effect. The meteorological department has forecast rains for today and tomorrow as well. Light to moderate rains is expected.
Some of the districts are witnessing hail storms as well. Crops were damaged due to rains in Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts. A trough running from north interior Karnataka to North Odisha is the reason for the rains The trough from south interior Karnataka to south Chhattisgarh now runs from north interior Karnataka to north interior Odisha at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.
