Two major healthcare providers, Yashoda Healthcare Services Limited (YHSL) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Limited (AHEL), will carry out attending to medical emergencies arising out of road accidents on the 158-kilometer stretch of the ORR (Outer Ring Road).
They will manage the Advance Life Support ambulances (ALS) along with Basic Trauma Care and Trauma Care Centres. The management of 10 ALS and six TCCs to these healthcare providers for providing emergency services to patients was handed over by the Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL).
The sources confirm that the ambulances are equipped with state-of-art facilities and are staffed with required paramedical and medical personnel who are strategically deployed at ORR's crucial junctions and respond whenever they receive any accident calls. In addition, Trauma Care Centres deliver the full spectrum of care to an injured victim from the time of the injury through transport to an acute care facility.
